I. GENERAL INFORMATION

  1. These regulations define the organization and rules for using the Spa Zone at the “SOŚNICA” facility located at ul. Heleny Modrzejewskiej 7, Zakopane.
  2. Before entering the Spa Zone and starting to use individual devices/services, guests must familiarize themselves with these regulations.
  3. The Spa Zone regulations apply to all users. It is assumed that by entering the Spa Zone, every guest accepts the provisions of these regulations and all other orders related to ensuring safety within the facility.
  4. The management is not responsible for incidents, damages, and their consequences resulting from guests’ failure to comply with the rules specified in these regulations.
  5. In case of an emergency, the facility management may completely or partially limit the use of the Spa Zone services, especially in urgent situations or unforeseen circumstances threatening the health or safety of guests.
  6. The zone is open daily from 09:00 to 22:00. The management reserves the right to change opening hours and to completely close the facility on certain days.
  7. The Spa Zone is divided into separate parts:
    • Pool area:
      • Recreational pool
      • 3x SPA tubs (jacuzzi)
    • Sauna area:
      • Finnish sauna
      • Combi sauna
      • Cooling area (Finnish bucket, showers)
    • Sanitary and relaxation area
  8. Before entering the Spa Zone and starting to use individual devices, guests must familiarize themselves with these regulations and the instructions for using the pool attractions and comply with them during their stay in the zone.
  9. Individuals present in the facility, especially in the pool and SPA area, who violate public order, good manners (including using profanity), create a threat to other persons present in the facility, or do not comply with the regulations of these regulations, do not follow the instructions of the staff and those responsible for the proper functioning of the Spa Zone may be asked to leave.
  10. Any incidents, requests, and comments should be reported to the facility manager.
  11. The management is not responsible for lost items or documents on the premises, nor for the user’s failure to familiarize themselves with these regulations and the instructions for using other attractions.
  12. Each user of the Spa Zone has a social obligation to immediately inform the facility staff of any situations that create a real threat to the users of the facility.
  13. The Relaxation Zone, along with the outdoor areas of the facility, must be vacated no later than 22:00, considering the time needed to change.

II. RULES FOR USING THE POOL AREA

  1. Each user is required to wash their entire body under the shower before entering the pool.
  2. It is forbidden to enter the pool area with outdoor footwear.
  3. Movement in all parts of the pool area is allowed only in flip-flops that ensure safety and hygiene.
  4. While using individual attractions in the pool area, users must not create situations that threaten the safety of others present, and the following actions are prohibited:
    • Damaging/destruction of signage that directly impacts safety
    • Running in the Zone and on stairs
    • Submerging and pushing other users into the water, as well as any other behaviors that threaten safety
    • Climbing on railings and other structural elements
    • Consuming food products
    • Bringing sharp objects, glass containers, and packaging
    • Throwing any objects into the water
    • Jumping into the water from walls, railings, jacuzzi tubs, or other parts of the facility, especially from a take-off or “headfirst”
    • Using the attractions in a manner contrary to the regulations and instructions
    • Destroying equipment
    • Relieving oneself in the water
    • Inserting body parts into openings inside the pools and jacuzzi used for water jets and massages
    • Using soap and other chemical agents
    • Contaminating the pool water
    • Initiating false alarms
    • Presence of individuals whose state indicates alcohol or other substance consumption
    • Consuming alcohol
    • Smoking cigarettes (including e-cigarettes) except in designated smoking areas.
  5. Individuals with skin diseases, open wounds, breathing difficulties, balance disorders, epilepsy, cardiovascular disorders, neurological disorders, infectious diseases, poor personal hygiene, frequent intravenous injections, or aggressive behaviors are prohibited from using the pool area.
  6. Individuals in poor health, fitness, or well-being, as well as pregnant women, should use the pool facilities according to their current health condition and with special care. The management of the facility is not responsible for any negative consequences resulting from neglecting this duty.
  7. Children under 16 years of age, blind individuals, and those who cannot move, undress, or change independently without assistance may only use the pool under the supervision of an adult. The duty of parental or legal supervision cannot be transferred to other individuals, especially hotel staff.
  8. Using the zone is equivalent to undertaking due diligence to protect one’s own life and health as well as that of others, particularly:
    • Familiarizing oneself with the regulations for using individual zones and adhering to them.
    • Complying with informational signs and the instructions and signals of lifeguards and staff responsible for ensuring safety and order in the facility.
    • Adjusting activity plans to one’s own skills and overall health condition.
    • Promptly informing facility staff of any accidents, injuries, and other incidents that may affect one’s own and others’ safety.
  9. The management reserves the right to periodically withdraw the use of all or part of the equipment.
  10. A maximum of 5 people may be in the jacuzzi at the same time.
  11. While using the jacuzzi, the following is prohibited:
    • Entering and exiting in areas not designated for that purpose
    • Jumping into the tub
    • Submerging one’s head underwater
    • Pouring water out of the tub
    • Contaminating the water
    • Disturbing the peace of other users
    • Engaging in behavior deemed indecent, inappropriate, or offensive
  12. All individuals in the zone must comply with the orders of the lifeguard on duty.
  13. Emergency contact numbers:
    • Police – 997
    • Ambulance – 999
    • Fire Brigade – 998
    • Emergency number – 112

III. REGULATIONS FOR USING THE SAUNA AREA

  1. The Sauna Zone is open from Monday to Sunday from 09:00 to 22:00. The management reserves the right to change opening hours and to completely close the facility on certain days.
  2. Use of the Sauna Zone is allowed only for individuals over 16 years of age.
  3. The Sauna Zone includes:
    • Finnish sauna
    • Combi sauna
    • Cooling area (Finnish bucket, showers)
  4. The Sauna Zone is a textile-free zone, meaning that access to the saunas is allowed only in a special pareo or towel. Bathing suits are not permitted in the saunas.
  5. Only healthy individuals without contraindications to being in high temperatures may use the sauna. Specifically, the following individuals should not use the sauna:
    • Those who have just completed endurance training
    • Those aiming to lose weight (e.g., before competitions)
    • Women during menstruation
    • Individuals suffering from glaucoma
    • Individuals with epilepsy and psychotic states
    • Individuals with acute and chronic infectious diseases and carriers of such diseases
    • Individuals with acute fever
    • Individuals with a high tendency to bleed
    • Individuals with chronic tuberculosis, cancer, and anemia
    • Individuals with cardiovascular diseases
    • Individuals with reduced adrenal cortex function, hyperthyroidism, and mucinous edema
    • Individuals suffering from vein inflammation, atherosclerosis, and coronary artery disease
    • Individuals in post-myocardial infarction and post-stroke states
    • Individuals with severe skin diseases, including eczema
    • Individuals with acute inflammatory conditions of internal organs
    • Individuals with decompression symptoms
    • Individuals with severe vegetative disorders of the central nervous system with serious circulatory disorders.
  6. Entry into the Sauna Zone confirms the absence of the aforementioned contraindications and compliance with these regulations.
  7. Feet must be bare when entering the saunas.
  8. The operation of the saunas and the equipment within them may only be carried out by the facility’s employees. It is prohibited to use any liquids, essences, oils, or other substances brought from outside for steam baths. It is particularly forbidden to leave any items (e.g., towels, robes, and bath sheets) in the immediate vicinity of the sauna stove.
  9. While in the separate rooms of the saunas, one must remember the temperature difference and be fully aware of their health condition.
  10. In the event of feeling unwell, dizziness, shortness of breath, etc., it is imperative to inform the facility staff. If possible, exit the Sauna Zone as soon as possible.
  11. It is forbidden to touch the heated stones on the stoves and elements of the heating installation, as this may lead to burns.
  12. Users are not allowed to pour liquids on the stoves in the saunas other than those specifically prepared by the sauna attendants.
  13. In dry saunas, users should use a pareo/towel in accordance with the sauna rules available in the Sauna Zone – sitting or lying on benches in such a way that no part of the body directly touches the boards (including feet). A pareo or towel should be used for this purpose.
  14. While in the Sauna Zone, the general sauna rules available in the Sauna Zone must be followed.
  15. Sun loungers and seating areas may only be used after covering them (e.g., with a towel, robe, or bath sheet).
  16. The behavior of guests in the Sauna Zone must not disturb the relaxation of other visitors or be burdensome for them. Running, making noise, or persistently staring at other sauna users is prohibited. All guests using the relaxation rooms are obliged to maintain silence and tranquility. No sexual behaviors or activities are allowed in the Sauna Zone.
  17. Consumption of alcohol and bringing glass containers or packaging into the Sauna Zone is prohibited.
  18. Guests whose comfort of sauna usage or sense of safety has been violated due to the behaviors described above, or for other reasons, should promptly inform the facility staff.
  19. It is forbidden to bring cameras, phones, or other devices that can record images into the Sauna Zone. Individuals who do not comply with this prohibition may be asked to leave by the staff.
  20. Special caution must be taken when using the cooling area. Too rapid exposure to cold showers or other attractions immediately after using the sauna may lead to arrhythmia, ischemia, or myocardial infarction.
  21. The management is not responsible for incidents resulting from non-compliance with the regulations, staff recommendations, and for events related to the poor health of guests.
